We planted half and half with the carrots there are seedlings and seeds in the ground.

These are the snow peas.
We have been wanting to build a sandpit for Jett for a long time now, but where to put it. We wanted it tucked away somewhere out of the sun, in the backyard so when we are doing our gardening Jett was where we could see him. We decided underneath the back stairs was the perfect spot, lots of area for him to play, tucked away to the side of the house and out of the sun. So dad and the chickens started clearing the area, pulling out the shrubs and leveling out the dirt.
Our niece had her birthday party yesterday at the park, she had a great day. How gorgeous is the present we made for her. Teagan has her own business it's called T-dye for Clothing. All of the clothes are are so beautiful. She does such a great job.
Rosie & Dad
This is my hubby Garry with the new addition to our family. Her name is Rosie, she is so big and black and beautiful. When we got her the other day she fitted in real well with the other chickens then that afternoon when I was upstairs and was busy doing some sewing while hubby picked up Jett, she broke out through the back of the hen house, Jett and I went door knocking in the street behind us but no one had seen her so we thought she was gone, then 9.15pm that night a lovely lady turned up saying she had Rosie in their house, thankyou was all I could say I couldn't believe we found her. I rushed to her place and got her, she was shaken but fine. She was very happy to get home with the others and has been perfect since. Now just waiting for some of her yummy eggs.
Sewing this week - I bought this material from the Op Shop it was a skirt and I loved the material, I had been planning to make a lunchpod with it, but I wanted to see it more often because the green flowers are very uplifting to me. So I made a day bag for myself.
Gardening this week: Picked the last of the lettuces, getting garden ready for next lot.
Found this week: These salt & pepper shakers are too cute from the Op Shop, my grandparents had similar ones when I was little.

We haven't had a dining table in the dining room since 2 christmas's ago bacause I wanted chrintmas on the back verandah so I took the rectangular dining table out there for christmas & everyone loved it so much that it stayed out there. I put a lounge in the dining room instead. The weather has been quite rainy of late so I pulled upstairs an old round pine dining table. It's a little worse for ware after been stored underneath the house for so long. It needed a tablecloth & placemats for it but I wasn't wanting to buy them. I found an old white sheet in the linen cupboard & cut it into big squares & sewed them together with green zigzag stitch
